Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel

These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations and stays at Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel, located in Curaçao.

1. Reservations

A reservation is confirmed once it has been confirmed in writing (by email or via the booking system) by Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel.

By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these general terms and conditions, the cancellation policy, and the house rules.

2. Payment

To confirm a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total stay is required.

If the deposit is not received within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If payments are not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

3. Security deposit

A security deposit may be required upon arrival.

Provided that the accommodation is left in good condition and no damage, excessive cleaning, or missing inventory is found, the deposit will be refunded within 48 hours after departure.

Any costs may be deducted from the deposit.

4. Cancellation

Cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy provided at the time of booking or published on our website.

If a reservation is made through an external platform (such as Airbnb), the cancellation policy of that platform applies.

5. Liability

Staying at Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

We are not liable for:

loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings;

injury, accidents, or damages occurring during the stay, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on our part.

The guest is liable for any damage caused to the accommodation, inventory, or facilities by themselves or accompanying persons.

6. Use of the accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the number of guests stated in the reservation.

It is not permitted to:

cause disturbance or nuisance;

use the accommodation for commercial purposes without prior consent;

violate the house rules.

In case of serious violations, we reserve the right to terminate the stay without refund.

7. Force majeure

In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, pandemics, government measures, or technical failures beyond our control, Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel cannot be held liable for failure to fulfill its obligations.

In such cases, we will consult with the guest to find a reasonable solution.

8. Governing law

These general terms and all agreements between Coconuts – Tropical Boutique Hotel and the guest are governed by the laws of Curaçao.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to amend these general terms and conditions. The most current version will always be available on our website.
